Here’s how they stepped-up UX with Account Check from Tink.
As part of their service model in Sweden, E.ON provides a log-in to My E.ON, an online account support area where users can manage their service in-app or via web. It's here that customers can set-up their accounts, view bills, set-up direct debits and payouts as well as monitor their energy usage.
My E.ON lets users add their bank details online so that the company can take payment for bills through autogiro and send outgoing payments straight to customer bank accounts, for example for home-based energy production via solar panels.
But manual input of bank details was an issue, causing errors that cost both E.ON and their customers in time.

With Account Check, the user selects their bank account to be verified through secure authentication via open banking, meaning E.ON receives accurate information straight from a user's bank. By removing manual entry and reducing error, the payout journey is faster, more accurate and more secure. Tink provides a set of SDK’s for seamless integration into a variety of channels and flows making development faster, with an optimised verification journey.
