AccountsIQ is on a mission to bring smart accounting to small and mid-sized businesses.
In a new open banking tech partnership with Tink, AccountsIQ is streamlining bank account connectivity with account aggregation.
This improves the user experience, provides more security and control over financial data, and reduces administrative costs.
AccountsIQ has been simplifying business accounts processing and reporting for more than a decade. Today it serves over 4,000 customers with 25,000 users in more than 85 countries, and has a vision of being the most connected and easy to use Cloud Accounting Software.
The new partnership with Tink is an important step in delivering on this vision, as the open banking integration enables AccountsIQ to offer more automated processing of accounts data, and product innovation for its customers. Stage one is to streamline bank account connectivity with account aggregation, improving the user experience of the accounting software platform, providing more security and control over financial data, while reducing administrative costs through simple and efficient bookkeeping.
Accountancy is one of the strongest open banking use cases for businesses, streamlining processes and removing manual reconciliation – by digitalising finance functions. AccountsIQ’s open banking integration will provide a seamless connection for transaction data from multiple banks, for users in the UK and Ireland. This lets them efficiently capture their full financial picture, and conveniently process payments and receipts through the AccountsIQ API.
AccountsIQ’s users will be presented with a simple workflow that helps them set-up and manage connections to their banks, that refreshes regularly to reflect new transactions in the system for easier reconciliation.
‘Our new partnership with Tink will allow users to seamlessly connect multiple bank accounts held by their organisation, with statement feeds four times a day,’ explains AccountsIQ chief operating officer, Darren Cran. ‘These businesses will benefit hugely from automated processing, real-time reporting and improved liquidity from faster settlement times.’
The new open banking connectivity will be rolled out to AccountsIQ’s users early in 2021– so watch this space.
