Nordea partnering with Tink

Nordea is partnering with Tink to transform their mobile banking app, and improve how their customers manage their money using open banking technology. As a first step, their Swedish customers will be able to use a multi-banking feature to see all their different bank accounts in the Nordea app.

Nordea, a leading financial services group in the Nordics, and one of the biggest banks in Europe, has partnered with Tink to tap into our open banking solutions for account aggregation, data enrichment and personal finance management.

As one of the early adopters of open banking technology, Nordea was one of the first big incumbents to bet on the open banking opportunity and recognise the value that this industry shift can bring to millions of bank customers – and now they’re bringing it to theirs.

By integrating Tink technology into their mobile banking app, Nordea will improve the mobile banking experience for their 11 million customers across the Nordics – and further cement the importance of providing great digital services to meet customers’ expectations in this new era of banking.

A better digital banking experience

The new features in Nordea’s new mobile banking app, which is starting to be rolled-out this week, will give customers tangible insights into their economy.

Users can gain better control of their finances by getting a comprehensive overview of their finances in one place. Mortgage, investments, loans and current accounts will all be visible on the Nordea app – even if these accounts are held with other banks.

And to make the digital banking experience increasingly better for their app users, Nordea is adding features throughout the year, such as categorisation of expenses and spending analytics.
